Phoenix Purchasing Solutions (PPS) are a not for profit organisation offering procurement and purchasing solutions to the public sector.

PPS is wholly funded by the public sector and offers flexible procurement solutions and support to public bodies. PPS aims to offer support to public bodies as and when they require it to reduce their resource demand by offering professional procurement advice and simple to use fully EU Compliant agreements.

Any public body can become a free of charge member. All members can utilise the agreements and procurement support facilities as needed and also influence the direction of PPS.

Our procurement professionals are highly experienced and a wealth of knowledge. Our staff have worked in many different organisations both public and private. We have experience in all areas of public sector such as, Central/Local government, NHS, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, education and Charities.

PPS is formed as a Limited by Guarantee organisation. Similar to a charity, its directors do not have a share holding and all ‘profits’ remain within the company and are reinvested to provide more services to its members. The managing director runs the operation of the business and its members influence PPS’s direction.

PPS have chosen not to become a formal charity as the additional operational overheads would be substantial and are better invested in member services and support.
